How verification works

Carsagg helps buyers find used cars that have already passed inspection and certification through official manufacturer programs.

Carsagg helps buyers find used cars that have already passed inspection and certification through official manufacturer programs.

Approved and Certified Pre-Owned programs are created by manufacturers to make buying a used car more predictable and safer.

What is an Approved or Certified car?

Not every used car sold by an official dealer is automatically certified. To receive Approved or Certified Pre-Owned status, a car must meet the manufacturer's requirements and pass its inspection process.

Depending on the brand, this may include diagnostics, engine and transmission checks, chassis and brake inspection, safety systems, electronics, bodywork, tyres, mileage, service history, test drive and final quality control.

Carsagg does not inspect the car - the manufacturer does

Carsagg does not replace a technical centre or create its own quality mark based only on a listing. The inspection is performed by official dealers and certified specialists according to manufacturer standards.

Carsagg finds these vehicles, structures their data and helps buyers understand which program stands behind the verified status.

Why is it more reliable?

With a regular used car, the buyer often has to verify mileage, servicing, condition and history independently. With an official Approved program, the manufacturer or its authorised dealer network is involved in the inspection.

For many programs, this can also mean documented history, defined condition standards, repair of detected issues and additional warranty or service support.

Why can an Approved car cost more?

A certified car is often more expensive than a similar car from a regular listing. But price alone is not enough for comparison.

Its value may include professional diagnostics, repair of detected issues, service preparation, confirmed history and additional warranty.

The buyer is not just paying for the car. They are paying for less uncertainty.

What does Trusted Car mean on Carsagg?

Carsagg uses official approved-car programs as one of the key trust signals. We aim to show not just a listing, but the source of trust behind it: who sells the car, which program certified it, what is known about its history and what checks it passed.

Our goal is simple: when you see a Trusted Car on Carsagg, you should understand why that car can be trusted.
